Open and unpack your Actionfigure® box
It’s an exciting day! Your Actionfigure box has arrived and you are ready to get started. Once you have opened the box, you will see the following:
- Amazon Signage Stick
- USB cable
- Power adapter (120v to USB)
- Remote control with:
- Two AAA batteries
- A velcro square on the bottom front of the Remote for attaching the remote to the back of your TV (so it doesn’t get lost!)
- HDMI extender
- Ethernet adapter
- 1’ long 120v power cord - to help plug in the power adapter behind TVs where space can be tight


Install the Signage Stick
- Power off your TV.
- Plug the large end of the USB power cable into the supplied Power Adapter and plug into the wall.
- If no power outlet is available or if the provided power adapter does not fit behind your TV due to the outlet location, we recommend purchasing a universal power extender.
- As a last resort you may plug into the USB port on your TV which is usually near the HDMI and other ports. However, TV USB ports do not deliver constant power and cause unpredictable issues with the Signage Stick player. To avoid this, we recommend purchasing this USB power adapter which stores energy until the Signage Stick needs more than your USB port can provide.
- If connecting via Ethernet
- Plug the smaller end of the USB power cord into the small port on the Ethernet adapter.
- Plug the Ethernet adapter into the small port on the side of the Signage Stick.
- Plug your Ethernet cable into the Ethernet adapter until it clicks.
- If connecting using WiFi
- Plug the smaller end of the USB power cord into the small port on the side of the Signage Stick.
- Locate any open HDMI port on your TV and fully insert the Signage Stick.
- Put batteries in the Signage Stick remote control and use the velcro to stick it somewhere to the back of your TV for safe keeping!
- Power on your TV.
Get connected!
The Signage Stick logo will appear for a few moments and the device will attempt to connect to the internet first using Ethernet and then it will try Wifi. Below you will find instructions to set up and troubleshoot whichever connection you choose to go with.

Connecting using Ethernet (wired)
If connecting using Ethernet, the Signage Stick should automatically connect to the Actionfigure servers and start showing your Screen after a few moments. Once your Actionfigure Screen is displaying, there is nothing further you need to do!
If content does not display, or you get the Actionfigure :actionfigure: logo along with an “Enter activation code” message, this means the Signage Stick is not receiving a usable internet connection from your network. If you try to enter a code, you will get a “This device cannot be activated” message.

If this happens, don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your device or code. Once internet is restored you can quickly reset using the home (🏠) button on your remote and the Screen will boot right back up.
To restore internet, try checking for:
- Loose Ethernet cables - make sure both ends are plugged in until they click.
- Internet at the port - Make sure the Ethernet port you are plugging into is connected to your network. This isn’t easy to do on your own, but if you have a computer with an Ethernet port you can try plugging in to see if you can open webpages. Otherwise, contact your network administrator to find out.
- Port blocking / firewalls - For security and privacy reasons some networks block devices from talking to the network until they are approved to do so by your network administrator. When contacting the network administrator, be sure to check about this as well. Click here for detailed information your network admin will need.

Connecting using WiFi
If you are connecting over WiFi you will need to tell the Signage Stick which network and password to use. To connect:
- Once your Signage Stick boots up, you will get the Actionfigure :actionfigure: logo screen.

- If you try to enter a code, no matter what you enter you will get a “This device cannot be activated” message. If this happens, don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your device. Once internet is restored you can quickly reset using the home (🏠) button on your remote and the Screen will skip this screen and load right up.
- To set up Wifi, once on this screen press the gear (⚙️) near the bottom of your remote.
- A menu will appear. Choose the first option for “Network & internet” by pressing the button in the center of the remote’s “wheel”.

- Scroll down one row and select “Wi-Fi Not connected”.

- Select your network
- Enter your password
- Once successfully connected, simply hit the home (🏠) button on your remote to reset the Signage Stick.
- After a few moments, your Actionfigure Screen should load all on its own.

How do I change the Activation code on my Actionfigure Screen?
To deactivate and reactivate Actionfigure, load your Actionfigure Screen so that your content is showing and then follow these easy steps:

- Press the right navigation wheel button one time
- Press the menu “hamburger” button one time
- A menu will pop out from the right side of the screen
- Press Deactivate
- You are now returned to the Actionfigure activation code screen. Simply enter your code to reactivate the device.
